On Thursday January 17th we will explore the city of Sarajevo and its surroundings, its history and the contemporary state of affairs, through the medium of film. Short films by directors Ena Sendijarević, Stijn Bouma, Zulfikar Filandra, Neven Samardzic and Šejla Lajlani, all connected to Sarajevo in their own way, will be screened. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion on the current cultural landscape of Sarajevo – and, more broadly, in Bosnia and Herzegovina – and the difficulties and possibilities encountered by its young, creative residents.

The night will be co-hosted by OUTLINE, a platform focused on exchanging stories and references. The platform, consisting of two graphic designers and two photographers, started off in Sarajevo. Here, they spent a month organising events, meeting people and collecting thoughts and ideas.

More information regarding the films and participants of the panel discussion will be announced soon!
