For a series of Unfair™ x Kriterion screenings, we invited three Unfair artists to screen a film that is somehow connected to their creative process and the themes they address in their work. There will be an introduction by the artists in which they will elaborate on their choice of film. Afterwards a Q&A, moderated by Gwen Pol.
In the second instalment of this series, artist Willem de Haan chose to screen the 2010 film Rubber: an absurdly comedic splasher-horror by musician and director Quentin Dupieux, better known as Mr. Oizo. This satirical film centers around a car tire that comes to life and kills people with its psychokinetic powers.
