In the thirteenth arrondissement of Paris, four young people redefine the concept of modern love. Émilie meets the boy Camille who is attracted to Nora. The latter in turn crosses the path of Amber. The four share a close friendship, but sometimes also love each other. Often their mutual relationship is a combination of the two.

Les Olympiades is a bittersweet urban symphony by Jacques Audiard. Céline Sciamma co-wrote the screenplay. In Les Olympiades, a neighborhood in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, we meet three young women and a man. They are in the middle of life as friends, sometimes lovers, but often as both. Emilie (Lucie Zhang) meets Camille (Makita Samba) when she has to look for a new roommate. They get along well and become more than friends. Nora (Noémie Merlant) is Camille’s girlfriend, but has trouble with intimacy and feels more comfortable with Amber Sweet (Jehnny Beth) who she met online. The young people discover what modern love is, where friendship and love are closer than ever. Les Olympiades was selected for the Cannes Film Festival, where Rone won the award for Best Soundtrack. The film is based on a number of graphic stories by cartoonist and illustrator Adrian Tomine.
